Guess what plum didn’t realise today is the last day of the month? THIS ONE. So, my monthly faves post is later in the day than the usual so soz about that (lol at the fact I just checked my last monthly faves post and the exact same thing happened at the end of August). Here’s my September highlights…
started: working for myself! Yep, as of 18th, I became my own boss. I’m excited, scared and exhausted which is a fun combo to be around. As of tomorrow I’ll have started a new vlog series all about my life as a freelancer, so go subscribe to my channel if that sounds like something you fancy checking out.
watching: the room at the Prince Charles Cinema! The Room is the best worst movie ever made (it’s hilarious) so we went to see a special screening of it at the PCC in London and it was such a funny night. We even met the director and one of the actors who are both so odd…
also watching: seinfeld. We took a small step back from Seinfeld for a bit to watch other shows, but it’s now a more regular occurrence in our lives and that is A-OK with me
also also watching: gbbo. Yeah, I’ll admit that I like it more than I expected to…although Noel’s posh voiceover voice still catches me off guard. It sounds like he’s putting on that voice we all do when on the phone to anyone we aren’t related to or friends with.
setting up: my new workspace. I have a cute little white desk and rose gold desk accessories. no YOU’RE a basic bitch.
eating: sainbury’s belgian chocolate sponges. YOU GUYS. These are the main reason I’m getting fat and spotty but an argument could be made that they are totally worth it.
reading: comics again. I’ve had to play serious catch up recently because my comic reading has gone down the pan. I do love reading comics but I’m also utterly addicted to pointless scrolling on Twitter and insta.
congratulating: the winners of #BloggersBlogAwards. Ngl, I did want to win the Blogging Guru award that I was shortlisted for but I’m so pleased that one of my fave blogs for inspo won!
Honestly, there’s not a lot more to tell you about! The whole leaving my job and working for myself thing has taken over the vast majority of my life right now and probably will continue to do so for at least another month! But still, here’s hoping that this time next month I’ll have more highlights to share…
What’s made your September super?
